Billie-Jo McDean is an experienced Natural Medicine Practitioner with over 25 years of experience and a deep passion for ongoing learning and holistic healing.
She feels privileged to work in a field she is genuinely passionate about and loves working one-on-one with people to help them resolve what is troubling them – whether it be relatively minor health concerns or more serious chronic physical and emotional conditions.
Through her own extensive healing journey, Billie-Jo has invested significantly in both personal and professional growth. This experience has strengthened her sense of purpose and commitment to supporting others with genuine care, compassion and expertise. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, restore wellbeing and return to living life fully.
‘I’m sure I’ve invested more than the cost of my original university degree all over again, into my own healing journey. I share this so you hopefully get a sense of who I am, and that I feel a strong sense of purpose in helping others. So, if you want healthcare from someone who actually cares and knows what they’re doing, I can provide that support. I love assisting others on their journey back to feeling whole and loving life.’
Billie-Jo offers naturopathic consultations including nutritional and Trauma Therapist, alongside herbal and nutritional medicine. Functional medicine testing is also available where required, including blood, urine and saliva testing, as well as hair mineral analysis, live blood screening and iridology.
She also offers her own style of intuitive massage, combining energy healing and balancing techniques to support deep relaxation and restoration. These sessions can be especially beneficial for those experiencing stress or anxiety and seeking immediate relief. Billie-Jo previously taught Pranic Healing workshops, is a meditation instructor, and has studied professionally with Dr Joe Dispenza. Her bodywork sessions are designed to calm brainwave activity and guide clients into a deep state of rest and repair.
For those wishing to explore deeper healing on all levels, including the subconscious mind, Billie-Jo offers TRTP (The Richards Trauma Process). TRTP consists of three sessions approximately 1.5–2 hours in length and is regarded as a profoundly effective trauma healing modality.
Whether clients are dealing with major trauma or the accumulation of life’s smaller emotional wounds, TRTP is designed to significantly improve quality of life. The modality has shown remarkable results in lowering DASS scores relating to depression, stress and anxiety, and has been the subject of research conducted through The University of Melbourne to better understand its effectiveness within a relatively short timeframe.
TRTP can be undertaken both in person and online and is often highly beneficial even for those who have previously undertaken extensive counselling yet still feel they are struggling or not living as fully as they would like.
Those interested are welcome to reach out for a complimentary phone conversation to discuss whether this approach may be a suitable fit.
