I hold a PhD in Psychology and Anthropology. From my teenage years I was fascinated with the human psyche and read any book available on psychology and philosophy. Anthropology opened my eyes to the diversity of culture and human lore. I’ve learnt and am still learning about the many facets of cultural and social life and have a keen interest in indigenous belief and healing systems. My other passion is Mother Nature and the preservation of the living planet. In my latest project with the working title Beyond Denial, I endeavour to combine the mental crisis with the climate crisis. Beyond Denial is a program for those who feel overwhelmed or frustrated at the state of the environment. The mental health program caters for people who are negatively affected by climate change, directly or indirectly.
In my counselling work I like to encourage vision, creativity and inspiration. I believe you are beginning to feel better when you…
…Feel assured that resolve can be found.
…Play an active part in improving your life.
…Look forward to living your life.
…See solutions where you only saw problems.
…Go there, in spite of your fears.
…Sleep well and wake refreshed.
…Start to reach for the moon.
