Dr Lara Tereshchenko
General Practitioner – MBBS
Lara grew up in Byron Bay before completing her medical degree with the University of New England. After graduating she completed internship and residency on the Central Coast, enjoying rotations in the busy mixed paediatric, women’s and adult’s emergency department and intensive care, anaesthetics and general surgery. She worked at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney as a critical care senior resident medical officer before joining general practice and moving back to the Northern Rivers.

Dr Clinton Leahy
General Practitioner – BSc MBBS FRACGP FARGP(Anaes), Grad Dip Rural, MPHTM GradCert Clinical Education
Clinton Grew up on the North Coast where he attended high school at Richmond River Lismore. Clinton went on to the University of Queensland where he studied science and medicine. Clinton has been working in Aboriginal/Tropical medicine since 2000. He also subspecialty in Anaesthesiology.

Dr James Williams
General Practitioner – BA (Hons), MB ChB, FRACGP
James graduated from the University of Leeds completing his foundation training in Yorkshire, England. Disappointed with the British weather, he moved to Melbourne working in emergency medicine, paediatrics and women’s health. Having decided on GP training he completed his post graduate studies in the Coffs Harbour region.

Dr Shabrina Hussein
General Practitioner – MBChB (Auckland), FRNZGP
Shabrina grew up in Fiji and then moved to NZ where she finished high school. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Auckland, NZ. She completed her GP training in NZ. She is passionate about all aspects of General Practice including dermatology, skin cancer, chronic conditions and women’s health. When not at work she is busy with her two active kids, baking and exploring the Northern Rivers area with her young family.
